PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is derived from a small sample of your own blood. The sample is processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in natural growth factors that promote cellular regeneration and healing. Once prepared, the PRP is injected or infused into targeted reproductive tissue to support fertility.
How PRP May Help Improve Fertility?
1. Ovarian Rejuvenation
PRP can be injected directly into the ovaries in women with diminished ovarian reserve or early menopause. This may stimulate dormant follicles, support improved egg quality, and in some cases, restore hormonal function.
2. Endometrial Thickening
For patients with a persistently thin uterine lining, PRP is infused into the uterus to promote endometrial growth. A thicker, healthier lining can improve the chances of successful embryo implantation.
3. Recurrent Implantation Failure
In cases where patients have experienced multiple unsuccessful embryo transfers, PRP may enhance uterine receptivity and improve the environment for implantation.

Is PRP Right for You?
While PRP is still considered an emerging therapy, early studies and clinical experience suggest it may offer hope to those who have not responded to conventional treatment options. We encourage patients with poor ovarian reserve, thin endometrium, or repeated implantation failure to speak with one of our providers to see if PRP may benefit their fertility journey.
