Carlos E. Lucena is a highly valued member of our team. Carlos began his training in Women’s reproductive healthcare and infertility in his native country of Venezuela where he completed degrees in Medicine and Surgery in 2000. He then completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Concepci0n Palacios Maternity Hospital in 2004. He continued his academic pursuits by undertaking a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Alcala, Spain. His wide breadth of experience and academic achievements the treatment of reproductive disorders and the advanced management of infertility provided a solid foundation as he worked to help countless couples in Venezuela achieve their dream of becoming parents.

In 2018, his career took a significant turn when he emigrated to the United States. He continued his academic expand his professional profile by obtaining the titles of Registered Nurse (RN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), which allowed him to integrate even more fully into the American health system. In addition, she obtained specialized certifications such as First Surgical Assistant Board Certified, which allowed his to work as a surgical assistant in various medical interventions.

Throughout his career, he has accumulated extensive experience in general medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility. He has also received advanced training in specialized surgical techniques such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, Da Vinci robotic surgery, and 2D/3D ultrasound in the gynecological and obstetrical fields.

Carlos E. Lucena is known for his excellent communication skills and his focus on patient satisfaction, qualities that have allowed him to excel both in his native country of Venezuela and in his new professional environment in the United States. Carlos has consistently proven himself as a skilled and compassionate provider and valued member of our patient care team.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Lucena is preparing to continue his professional growth with his future certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP), allowing him to offer even more comprehensive care to his patients.
